Our
Services and Ministries
We,
at the First Spiritual Temple, endeavor to offer people a wide variety
of religious, educational, and spiritual experiences. The First
Spiritual Temple and its Ayer Institute provide two doorways through
which one can experience our work: religion and
education. Although
both doorways are important and, together, create a wonderful wholeness
of experience, we recognize that, initially, some people come to
us looking for a Church and place of worship; while others come
to us looking for instruction on the various aspects of the spirit.
We reach out to both dimensions of the search and give each food
for the spirit.
Here
is what we offer people, near and far:
- Sunday
Worship: Every Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m.
(with the exception of the month of August, when Sunday Services
are not held.)
- Religious
Education: Dealing with God, Jesus Christ, Spiritualism, and your spirit.
How we relate to God, to Christ, and to each other. Making sense
of the Bible, in modern times.
- Spiritual
Counseling and Healing: Private counseling and healing sessions
on spiritual and religious matters; along with guidance on psychic
or mediumistic experiences.
- Healing
Ministry: Our Church's Healing Vigil reaches out to those
who are in need of physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.
Each Sunday service closes with healing prayer and an invitation
for members of the congregation to come forward for the laying
on of hands. The Healing Vigil extends beyond the congregation,
through an inspiring program of absent healing.
- Monthly
Evenings of Spirit Communication: Over the years, these
monthly events have become well-known throughout the Greater
Boston area. They are held on the third Wednesday evening of each
month (September through June), beginning at 7:30 p.m. Our mediums
are professional and well-trained in giving evidence of survival
and comforting messages from spirit loved ones. These evenings
are, truly, a wonderful experience to behold.
- Private
Mediumistic Consultations:
For those interested in a private sitting for spirit communication,
we offer both in-house and taped sessions with Reverend
Simeon Stefanidakis. Rev. Simeon has been a practicing medium
and channel for spirit for over 25 years. He is well-known for his
integrity, honesty, professionalism, and evidential work with
spirit.
- General
Instruction: The Church's Ayer Institute
offers a wide variety of practical and down-to-earth classes,
lectures, and seminars on the following areas of interest:
Spirit
Communication; Healing; Esoteric Studies; Psychic Development;
Spiritualism; Life After Death; Reincarnation; Journey of Your Soul; Meditation;
The Aura and Chakras; Color Healing; and so much more.
- Written
Ministry: We offer study guides and taped packages on Death
and Dying; The Question of Abortion; Mediumship
and Channeling; Spiritualism; and more.
We also
offer a unique and thoroughly informative teaching guide on
The Journey of the Soul. Nearly
800 pages, arranged in 51 lessons, on CD-Rom.
