About The
First Spiritual Temple
DID YOU
KNOW?
as far as we know, the First Spiritual Temple is oldest Christian
Spiritualist Church in the world. We have been in continuous service and operation
since 1883.
DID YOU
KNOW? Our original House of Worship and Study, in Boston, is
the largest building constructed, specifically for the cause and
work of Spirit. Click here to view our

DID YOU
KNOW? At the ceremony for the laying of the cornerstone of our
original Church building, on April 9, 1884, the cornerstone, inscribed
with the Alpha and Omega, was baptized with oil which
had been sent to Marcellus Ayer by an ancient Egyptian society.
The oil came from the, then, recent excavations within the Temple
of Karnack and the tomb of Remises III.
On the 100th
anniversary of the dedication of the building, on September, 1985,
the cornerstone was removed and a time capsule was opened. Click
