The Ayer Institute Dedicated
to Understanding The Ayer Institute is a teaching body of the First Spiritual Temple. As such, it is under the general mission and ministry of the Church and dependent upon the Church's overall philosophies concerning the journey and the gifts of the Spirit. The primary purpose of the Ayer Institute is to offer people a place in which they may engage in sound, responsible teaching concerning the journey of the human spirit and its varied God-given gifts, in a open and nondenominational environment. It does this through the presentation of classes, courses, seminars, and various written material. Through an understanding of the Spirit and its many gifts, we may come to see, more clearly, our human and divine potentials and, then, apply that knowledge in order to make manifest those potentials in our daily lives. In this, we become closer to ourselves, to each other, and, ultimately, to God.
